Shake it Up
There’s a time and season for everything under the sun. So why wouldn’t it be a time to SHAKE IT UP!
Life has taught me that many times when one is stuck or unable to take flight, it’s due to allowing people and things to stay in place that are no longer fitting to their journey. What do you mean by that Diane? Glad you asked (winks), what I mean is there are things and people in our lives that simply no longer fit who we are or thriving to be. However, because of loyalty, fear, or even maybe guilt, we allow things to remain status quo.
When people use to say to me “you’ve changed” I felt as if I did something terrible. It was like I was being accused of doing something wrong, this would cause me to retreat back into a place of acceptability. I seriously thought if I just shrunk back into the person that made others feel comfortable then I would be accepted. Yeah Right! Instead, what I realized is that some people are intimidated and frustrated by the growth, shine, and transformation of others. Why is this? Honestly, I cannot answer that because the root cause is uniquely based upon the life experiences and choices of an individual.
Life has taught me when you are “Clearly Ready” you will not only embrace the changes within and without, but you will also begin to thrive in change. Once you realize that the right people and situations will find you, life will begin to flow differently. Now don’t get it twisted (confused) life doesn’t necessarily become easier actually things maybe challenging. The difference however is your support will be real and strong even if you have less people supporting you. This type of support will allow for a peaceful foundation aiding you to make it through whatever storm life throws your way.
Nowadays I embrace change, and when someone say “You Changed” my response is “Thank You for Noticing” I finally realize that Paths2transformation is not only my website, it’s also my lifestyle. My desire is to continuously embrace change from moment to moment, and day to day. My evolution also encourages and inspires my children, grandchildren, and every person God has assigned to my life. When I shake it up it’s never just for me but for everyone connected to me.
In love I say this; once you know that a person or situation no longer fits who you are or are becoming, you owe it to yourself to SHAKE IT UP! This will allow your life to expand and transform into the person you were created to be. No, it’s not comfortable to shake up things in your life but the rewards that come after are always worth it. Just remember to do all things in LOVE because: LOVE NEVER FAILS!!!
