Holy Spirit Led

SPIRIT LEAD ME WHERE MY TRUST IS WITHOUT BORDERS….

Many of us have a list of things that we want to accomplish throughout the day. The list may consist of grocery shopping, laundry, organizing, cleaning out that room that everything seems to be thrown into. Our lists can go on and on. Today, my list consisted of a few things, including walking and going to the store. At first, I was going to do them separately, but then I felt the Holy Spirit guiding me to walk to the store.

I don’t know about you, but I get excited when I can accomplish multiple goals at once. When I made it to the store, I grabbed a couple of things that were not on my list to get. However, they were on clearance and the sale was calling my name, lol.  The product that I came in for also had a clearance sticker, but was only showing the regular price, so I went to customer service to confirm what it would cost. I waited for a few minutes for someone to come over and assist me. When the customer service representative came over and scanned the item, nothing came up. She was unable to locate the price. She then called for a manager to come assist, which took a while, but thank God, He has given me a gift of patience, so I patiently waited.

When the manager came up to the counter, he scanned the item and the same thing happened, then he went to the back of the store and a few minutes later he had found the price. After all of that, I was still unsure if this was the item I wanted, so I went back to the initial aisle to confirm. I ended up deciding on the item that I had. At that moment, I felt like this had been a waste of time, coming back to the same aisle and deciding to keep what I already had, BUT GOD! As I was walking back down the aisle, I noticed a lady in a wheelchair. She stopped me as I was passing by and asked if I could get a product for her that was on the highest shelf. She was unable to reach it.

At that moment it all clicked, if I hadn't walked to the store, if I hadn't waited patiently for a price check, if I hadn't gone back to the same aisle, I wouldn’t have been at the exact place, at the exact time God needed me to help someone.

How many times do we feel that we may be in a space wasting time? But this waiting place is needed for God to work out His plan, so that we are exactly where He needs us to be. Today, I just want to encourage myself and others that we are exactly where God wants us to be!
